We are in Sandy Hook NJ right now but should be heading down in the next few days. We think we may be near Spa Creek by next Monday or so. With the boat show coming up do you think we can get a mooring ball in Spa Creek or do they go quick and if so any suggestions for us to anchor or go?Jon and Arline Libbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07075076127990396523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544524550978029601.post-59697831677185091482009-09-26T19:15:00.183-04:002009-09-26T19:15:00.183-04:00Its funny you mentioned "Prop Speed". A...Its funny you mentioned "Prop Speed". A friend of mine stopped by while we were working on the boat today and he suggested it as well. I'll Google it up and see what the story is. We usually do stop Saint Augustine on the way down. If we're there we'll plan on meeting up with you.S/V Verandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04738948023678971536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544524550978029601.post-74186706902559010062009-09-26T10:29:08.843-04:002009-09-26T10:29:08.843-04:00Have you looked into the product "Prop Speed&...Have you looked into the product "Prop Speed"? We will install a MaxProp when Vixen is hauled in Feb 2010. I've read this is a good product but don't know anyone using it. Due to the tidal influx and current at our dock - growth and barnacles are a problem. Larry purchased a HookaMax so he can dive every month to clean/scrape the barnacles and river slime off the prop, keel and bottom. We are also have a problem with our zinc being "eaten" about every 4 weeks. Still looking for the reason for this. <br />If you stop in Fernandina or St. A on your trip south, we'd like to meet with you for dinner/drinks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
